These are *the* most comfortable boots we've
used. The interior is very plush. They are waterproof, yet breathable.
The leather frame and "suede" insole is synthetic. The Chicane has the
anti-crush shank built in the sole, ankle armor,
toe sliders (you don't have to drag your toes, think of it as another layer of
armor), beefy heel protectors, laces ensuring
a perfect fit, and we really like the wider lace and ankle strap. We
also like that they are taller than most "shorty" boots.
Jodie prefers the Chicane Street boot *significantly* to the
Oxtar/TCX Jupiters she used to wear.
